January 2012 Japanese BD/DVD releases

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s my attempt at documenting all of the BD/DVD releases next month that are from ecchi shows or will probably have ecchi content. Consider it a beta version for now, because some of the details aren’t 100% clear yet. Go ahead and offer feedback on the format too.

Some explanations about the column headers
Cover: Some of these covers are place holders, because the official art hasn’t been released yet.
Episodes: These are the episode numbers, not the total number of episodes. Episodes with previews here are linked to help jog your memory.
Special?: “Yes” means that the release has some kind of original video content. It could be a picture drama, a cast interview, or a standard ecchi special, but that’s not expanded upon here.

    Looks good!

    Side note: Saw the webcast of Rinne no Lagrange and it looks to be a show to monitor for ecchi. First episode had a shower scene, boob poking and panty shots.

      Yeah, that’s a pleasant surprise.

      The first ecchi shows premiere in like a week and a half, so I’m still procrastinating on making the Ecchi Forecast…
