Ikki Tousen: Shugaku Toushi Keppu-roku OVA preview

AT-X had a special airing of the Ikki Tousen OVA that comes out on DVD/BD next week. It’s pretty standard for the series. Panties are flashed, clothes are ripped. Pretty good all around.

    So, was this actually shown in theaters in Japan? :o

      Umm… no? It was shown on AT-X, a satellite TV channel.

    wasnt there a theatrically released ikki tousen though? i remember readin about it and thought this was an ova release of that

      I don’t know about a theatrical Ikki Tousen, but “OVA” means that it was basically “straight to video” (even though this one technically appeared on TV a week earlier than on video). If it was in theaters first, it would be considered a movie and not an OVA.

        Huh, never mind. They did show it in theaters first in three cities, in November. Perhaps it needs to get a wider release to be considered a “theatrical release” and not an OVA. Guess I just wasn’t keeping up with it.

    Was the broadcast completely uncensored? Anything new to expect for the DVD/BD?

    Was this all the ecchi there was or just some quick shots you gathered?

      I would not expect it to change on DVD.

      I didn’t get these from the raw, just from people who posted pics on 2chan, so no, it’s not a fully thorough collection.
