Maken-ki OVA preview

If you think of this OVA episode as a colored slideshow of the parts of the manga it covers, that takes away some of the sting. It looks good in still shots, but that’s because it’s almost completely still shots. Only a few nude scenes were actually animated to a significant degree. It’s not bad, but it’s not as good as it could be.

    I’m pretty disappointed. I expected more ecchi. Nudity takes very little time, they are non animated images with little interest. Minori still not appear naked as she has the second largest breasts in the manga. There are still three special episodes, hopefully one of Aki and one on Minori even if it would be surprising.

    Naota thank you for the picutres even though I’ve seen them before.

    PS : News about the vol 8 ? I don’t find Raw yet.

      Despite the lack of animation, this is still one damn beautiful OVA! I’d only really be upset if the specials dont end up including Aki or Minori or both (seperately would be awesome but if they’re together, that’d be interesting…), even though everyone pretty much says it’s a given at least for Aki.

    You can clearly see the purple haired girl’s pussy lips and I think the Blonde one in the middle too but needs better res for that one.

      It’s probably worth mentioning that one of the illustrations published in Dragon Age seems to have it drawn in as well. It’s extremely uncommon, so it caught my attention when I saw it.

      Woah.. :O nice catch. And I cant beleive this lead to someone mentioning Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer, lol.. I love that anime, but so few talk about it. Obari was the man. If only more anime these days would dare to slip stuff like that in sometimes.

        Masami Obari is indeed the man. He’s one of my favorite animation directors and design artists. I really wish he would finish off the Angel Blade series but alas.

    Despite the still shots this is a pretty ranchy ova, maken-ki is still ecchi as ever! :)

    This sadly was boring, the R-15 OVA was much better, this ova was just the usual with a little bit more fanservice.
