Hey Naota can you confirm whether or not the Manyuu Hikenchou manga is ending?

The blog of the author says “this last volume” if I’m reading things right

Apparently the anime sales haven’t been strong but if it got licensed for North America and other countries and sold well then maybe Hoods could justify making a second season and if the manga is indeed ending there’s actually something to work towards

  Interesting. I would hesitate to say for sure what is meant by the word “last” in that context. It could easily mean “most recent”. I’ll try to find out more though.

    he say it’s the last volume, so maybe he really want to end Manyuu Hikenchou, or he wanna do a 2nd season, like Girls Saurus, end after 3 vol, and then start again.

    I now feel more sure that it’s ending.
    
    Just translated the description of volume 7 at getchu where it says “final completion”.

    And looking at the covers it means like the story is ending
    
    Volume 6′s cover shows Chifusa vs her father, volume 7 shows Chifusa vs her oldest sister (Kyoka).
    
    Stuff you assume would happen near the end of the story.

  Yeah, I saw the High School DxD pics on Akiba blog. I can’t watch the BokuTomo trailer, because it’s restricted by Media Factory, but I saw some screenshots. That’s great news.
  
  It’s funny, because I would actually buy the BDs even though I live in the US, but apparently Media Factory doesn’t want to advertise to me.

  Yeah, I saw that earlier today. There’s a good chance the show will be uncensored on AT-X, which is a welcome change of pace these days.

Can you or do you know someone who can write in Japanese?

Maybe ask him if he’s working on any new projects (he does seem to be Hoods Entertainment’s “go-to” guy).

Obviously he wouldn’t publicly announce the name of anything new he was working on (Non Disclosure Agreements and all that), but we could at least maybe get a “yes”.

  I haven’t yet tried asking any Japanese twitter accounts questions in Japanese. I have… just barely better than Google Translate levels of Japanese ability. It’s something to think about trying though.

  It’s a confusing issue, but I am pretty confident those people are wrong.
  
  The manga-ka blogged about the announcement of the anime. In the same blog post, it was mentioned that the manga-ka designed characters for an idol variety show that airs in that Chukyo TV timeslot.
  
  I think people thought the two items were related, and that Gokujo was in that timeslot.
  
  I’m pretty sure it’s not.

    Yeah. I added it to the Current Ecchi Schedule yesterday.
    
    And I’ll note that until recently, that SKE48 page on the Chukyo TV website never mentioned Gokujo. Now they do, even if it just says “Broadcast soon. Stay tuned.”
    
    Part of me was hoping it would be a full show, not a series of shorts though.

Hey Naota! Quite a while ago you posted some information on a new Princess Lover ova that would be coming out in this past November. Naota, could u check the BD ver of Omamori Himari plz? been reading that there will be different with DVD veq, so i wonder if its just an upscale or not? especially those censored scenes thanks in advance
Btw, there are rumors floating out there that To Love ru Darkness getting anime adaption?
